“When I was a teenager, I always wanted to be like my cousin Jenny. She was a hair stylist and I just thought she was amazing.” recalls Ali Slavin. “I think that’s where I got the itch to be a stylist…maybe it’s in my DNA.”
After Cosmetology school, Ali joined One Salon as an assistant. She worked with senior designers Julie Fox and Kara Brown and was also mentored by Master Stylists Dave DeWitt and Jeanine Cushion. During this time Ali graduated from One Salon’s education program, where she was trained in the TIGI Cutting System and Goldwell and Schwarzkopf color theory.
It didn’t take long to realize Ali had the skills and passion to become a superstar. She hit the ground running as a stylist, quickly growing and retaining clients. “I just love the opportunity to try new things and be creative on a daily basis. I’m fascinated by color. I also love doing event styles and being a part of someone’s special day.”
