Amy discovered her passion for hair, beauty and fashion at an early age. “I was born in England, so I was always surrounded by the latest trends and I just remember seeing hair styles on the telly and in magazines and I would say to myself, I can do that.”
After moving to the US and a brief stint at University, Amy decided it was time to follow her passion and began her salon career in Guest Services and later became an apprentice. “I’m glad I did it the way I did. As an apprentice I had a salon full of teachers instead of just one and I was surrounded by the culture and gained in salon experience you do not get at beauty school.
Amy hit the ground running as a Designer at One Salon. Her creativity and passion for all aspects of her craft make her a versatile and invaluable team member. She is highly skilled in cutting, coloring, extensions, event styling and make-up. “What I love most is being able to perform many services on a single client to transform them and give them a whole new look.”
